The birth time of this politician is unknown, so we will have to do without the Ascendant and the Moon.

Very little is known about this man's life, but given a birth during a New Moon, a conjunction of Saturn with the North Node, and a dense Venus/Pluto conjunction, one can assume that this "airy" being (with Air and Fire dominant in his chart) has always experienced his relationships intensely, and that he has a definite tendency toward confrontation (Mars opposes the stellium formed by the other planets).

Christian Dubé began his political career as a member of the National Assembly in 2012. The North Node was then returning to its natal position. Anything involving the lunar axis tends to suggest a profound change in destiny. His political adventure lasted only two years, as he resigned in 2014 to return to the private sector.

However, he was re-elected six years later and became President of the Treasury Board. The North Node had just passed over the significant Uranus/Chiron opposition while Pluto the transformer was forming an exact trine with Jupiter. For him, he likely perceived that opportunities were opening up before him.

Two years later, he became Minister of Health as the pandemic was in full swing (Mercury transiting Chiron). The long procession of astrological elements in Capricorn at the time made this period an ideal time for reform for him. Mr. Dubé arrived at Health to clean house, to reorganize (a natal Mercurian tendency in Virgo receiving in turn a trine from Saturn, the conservative and consolidator, and another from Pluto, the volcano, the one who can move heavy tectonic plates).

Thus, Mr. Dubé would be perceived as the man for the job, with stable yet powerful energies, the one who could perhaps turn the heavy ship of Health around.

However, Uranus the impatient arrived in May 2025 at 90 degrees (square) from the natal Venus/Pluto conjunction. It was somewhat like saying: "I feel like things are changing in my relationships, and I sense it's going to be intense, but come what may." Uranus was not alone in tickling the natal chart. Mars was conjunct Uranus and opposite Chiron.

Because the planets move through the sky in motion relative to Earth, they have what are called retrograde periods. They seem to hesitate in the sky, change speed, stop, move backward, and then turn direct again. These periods are longer or shorter depending on the planet. The slower they are, the longer these periods can stretch.

The significant Uranus square thus affected Venus/Pluto a first time in May, and through retrograde motion, it returned in November and December, when the conflict between him and the doctors reached its peak. It will only be resolved in April 2026. It is possible that Mr. Dubé will leave politics at that time before the end of his term.
