The assassination of influencer Charlie Kirk by his alleged assailant, Tyler Robinson, cannot fail to interest the astrologer. We do not know Kirk’s time of birth and, officially, we did not even know Robinson’s date of birth, except for an affidavit of "first cause". Since this is not an official indictment document, the date may be incorrect. But it does seem to match the facts…

The first thing an astrologer will want to inspect in a victim is the signature of the event. Despite the near-planetary character of the event (which quickly overshadowed the horrors of the massacres in Gaza…), it is difficult to conclude that the transits of the moment suggested a violent act, although…:

Mars had just transited the Sun and was also in a wide square to the natal Uranus/Neptune conjunction. It is worth noting that during the lunar eclipse of September 7, Mars would again be transiting the Sun…

Transiting Venus was in contraparallel with Saturn and Mars, while transiting Saturn was within orb of an opposition to… Venus, also in contraparallel. There was also a transiting contraparallel of the Sun to natal Pluto.

We should also note the progressed Sun at 1º from Mars, as well as secondary progressed Mars in square to Chiron. Without the birth time, we cannot go further.

Now let us overlay Robinson’s presumed chart. It is declared animosity! Sun, Venus, and Mercury oppose each other, as does the nodal axis, which is inverted. Robinson’s Chiron is in exact conjunction with Kirk’s Uranus/Neptune conjunction.

Robinson’s transits at the time of the assassination are complex. We see Moon/Chiron on the Sun opposing natal Moon. The Sun is in a wide square with Pluto, while Mars opposes the Sun and is square to its natal position. We also notice the grand cross of transits in cardinal signs. There was a call to action. Chiron on the Sun suggests a call to expiation, a desire for purgation.

It has been said that Tyler Robinson underwent radicalization. There is certainly something to explore here. Pluto transited Mars during 2021–2022, also squaring the Sun. Neptune also transited Venus in 2023, while Saturn put its full weight there in 2025. Finally, Jupiter, which inflates whatever it touches, transited Mercury and opposed Pluto throughout 2024 and 2025.

Finally, Uranus was conjunct the lunar node, a sign of an important change of destiny for the young man. There was indeed a dense mixture of energies seeking only to explode.

A significant transformation took place, we are told, in Robinson’s life: after receiving a scholarship in 2021, he nevertheless left university to undertake a more technical course. Although it is not certain at the time of writing, it is said that Robinson’s roommate—the one who allegedly warned the FBI—was undergoing gender transition, and that they were in a relationship.

We may eventually learn more about Tyler Robinson’s motivations. The months to come will certainly be rich in astrological lessons!
