Trump-Putin August meeting

The announcement of a Trump–Putin meeting on August 15, 2025 is an invitation to examine the nature of the sky at that time in each protagonist’s chart.

For Trump, Mars will be exactly transiting his natal Neptune. In principle, this suggests a futile effort, a "sword thrust into water," or difficulty acting concretely and on the basis of tangible ideals.

For Putin, the Sun will have passed over Pluto the day before, heralding a last-minute annoyance, while Venus will be conjunct Uranus: unpredictable relationships, beyond the level of control usually sought by the politician.

For Zelenskyy, Jupiter will be in direct opposition to Mercury, which could indicate heightened negotiations—or even a gamble.

Taking into account that Uranus is currently brushing against Putin’s natal Moon—and that this transit will reach full strength in 2026—one might see a weakening of his position as a statesman. Given the Saturn–Neptune conjunction in 2026, will we witness a change of tide for Russia, since the cycle of these two planets seems to coincide with existential turning points in the Northern empire?

Zelenskyy will not be spared in 2026 either. Pluto will be moving for a long time over his natal Sun–Venus conjunction. This will mark an important turning point in his destiny.

Returning to Trump, the Epstein affair is not over and will likely muddy the waters. The "scandal" of the undisclosed documents began during a Mercury–Pluto conjunction (in the twelfth house!). As Mercury later turned retrograde, its return to Pluto will take place at the end of August.

The solar eclipse of September 29 will be at odds with Trump’s natal chart, with Mercury conjunct Neptune and the eclipse squaring his natal Sun–Moon axis.

In August, Mars will be transiting Putin’s twelfth-house natal stellium of Sun–Saturn–Neptune–Mercury, while the Sun transits his Pluto, high in his chart. This looks more like belligerent behavior than an outstretched hand.

August and September are therefore rather heated and destabilizing months. Will we witness farcical theater on August 15?
