The Quebec political landscape is taking a new turn. Not one, but two leaders will have resigned within a month. This time, it is the Premier who understood, in light of a string of polls as disastrous as ever, that it was time to bow out.

I predicted in a previous post an unstable summer for Mr. Legault. He is resigning at the moment Pluto opposes his natal Uranus. This was certainly preceded by the opposition Mars made to its natal position on January 1st, and a few days ago, it was Mercury opposing that same Mars. It is therefore likely on the 10th that he made his decision.

During the September 2025 eclipse, Mars was conjunct Neptune while Pluto was already within orb of the square to that planet, possibly square the Moon.

As Uranus arrives on the politician's Sun this summer, one can well imagine that a new path is opening up for him. It is simply the promise of renewal for the founder of the CAQ.

Worth noting, the Moon was transiting natal Saturn at the time of the politician's resignation.
